Data Science Track is a program designed for high school students to gain important research data analysis experience necessary for the current AI-driven era. It will provide a competitive and distinguishing edge for college applications as well as college/major decisions. Professional data scientists will teach “data processing”, “data visualization and statistics”, and “predictive machine learning models” sequentially with various data from social, environmental, economic, marketing, bio, and medical fields. Through this program, students will be able to achieve online course certificates from universities. Also, they will be prepared for data science-related research projects, summer camps, and research center internship opportunities in various fields. Additionally, it will provide a strong foundation for AP Computer Science and AP Statistics.

[CS65A] Data Science Foundation

This course will teach a data science foundation through MIT's online data science curriculum. It introduces a collection of powerful tools for data analysis, such as Jupiter Notebook, Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Git, and more. Students will learn hands-on knowledge of data processing as well as the fundamental theories of statistics and probability. They will also be provided with many opportunities to apply the ideas they’ve learned.

[CS65B] Machine Learning Foundation

This course will further teach a machine learning foundation through MIT's online data science curriculum. It will cover machine learning key concepts and algorithms in more depth. Students will learn how to do data analysis with various real-world data and build a strong foundation for machine learning projects.
